We won't judge your circumstances or make you feel pathetic. We're here to support each other and befriend each other when nobody else is willing to. No job? Can't drive? No talent? Socially awkward? Schools in one of my country's provinces now added "trans", "non-binary" and "crossdresser" as option for the kid's gender.

Article (In spanish): https://www.infobae.com/educacion/2022/11/08/la-inscripcion-a-escuelas-bonaerenses-ahora-incluye-las-opciones-trans-travesti-y-no-binario-para-el-genero-del-estudiante/
So basically schools in Buenos Aires province, in Argentina, now added that when you register your kid you can now choose trans, non-binary and "travesti" as their gender.
So a few things with that. First the idea of putting "trans" as a separate gender. Like seriously, that is something completely unnecessary. Being transgender is not a separate gender, it is rather a condition. A trans person can be a man, a woman or non-binary but it is not exclusionary with "trans". Adding trans as a separate gender from male and female just adds more confusion and makes binary trans people look like if we are not real women/men, in other words, it just hurts our community more.
Regarding the non-binary inclusion I have no problems with it. Some people argue it would be better to be left simply as "male, female, other", but meh, I don't think it is an issue.
But the worst thing for me, is the inclusion of "travesti" as an option. Now, travesti would pretty much translate as "crossdresser", so we already see the problem there. Basically, if you are a cis man who dresses with typically female clothes, or a cis woman who dresses with typically male clothes, then you are suddenly a separate gender. But that's not the worst thing. Travesti is a word with a very negative connotation here. It is usually associated with prostitutes and drag. Basically, it can (And usually is) be used as meaning "sissy" basically. So they are literally adding "crossdressesissy" as an option for parents to register their kids when entering school. What sane parent would call their kid a "sissy" or a "crossdresser", specially if they are in elementary school age?
So those are my thoughts on this. I would want to know yours. I personally think this does nothing more than to worsen the image people have of trans people in my country, by making it as if binary trans people are not real men or women, and giving association with several negative stereotypes associated with crossdressing (Which should't exist by the way, I have nothing against crossdressing, just pointing out a reality), while also basically giving a completely stupid decision to make.

How Singapore helped me realise that I do not want kids

By most Singaporean metrics, I have a good life. I am able to support my siblings while they're studying, bring my family on holidays once in a while, and have no debt. I don't have terrible working condition or outrageous OT. Yet what we call a good life is far from an ideal life.
We are subjected to competition from a young age. Everything a kid does has to be beneficial to applying for a secondary school, to JC and then to uni. That's just the start. We have one of the longest work week in the world and one of the most stressed out workforce. If you're lucky, you get a 45-50 hours, 5 days work week, before even factoring the fact that most people don't get the luxury of leaving the office at the official hour.
We are constantly told that we must go above and beyond for our companies, that Singaporeans must work hard and be subjected to competition to remain competitive. Doing just the work that you're paid for is "quiet quitting" and is shameful. When someone dared to mention the possibility of a 4 days work week or having the right to disconnect, everyone and their mothers were up in arms about "the impact on productivity", even though none of the increase in productivity in the previous decades have been passed on to workers. Let's not forget how we're "encouraged" to remain active in old age by upgrading our skills and working more.
Houses are getting smaller while at the same time, getting more out of reach for most. If you're not lucky to have found love in your early 20s, have fun waiting for your BTOs. Of course, you could turn to the resale market where all your savings get turned into profit retirement fund for the lucky ones who got there before you (but don't worry, only 1% of people own both a private and HDB property). No one questions why a resale market exist for public housing or why it's doing the job of generating retirement fund, instead of CPF.
So, a kid is subjected to stress from a young age, devote his entire life to work, after hours and on weekends, continue to work past retirement, all for a 30 years mortgage on an apartment that should only be big enough to have sex and raise more kids. Who the f*** looks at this and say "Wow, this is the life that I want my kids to have". And mind you, this is a picture of a decent life. God forbid if he was born poor, or LGBT or want to be single.
I have since understood the broader ethics about antinatalism which has nothing to do with the Singaporean context. But even if I ignore all ethical questions about having a kid, I could never find it in my conscience to subject a person to the life here.
Edit: I enjoyed reading the discussion in this post and I’d like to address some common points.
1. The idea that anyone who is stressed out must be miserable, maladjusted, entitled or just have not figured things out.
This is precisely the mentality that normalizes the toxic work culture in Singapore and the reason why I would not want kids in this country. People pester others to give birth, extolling the joy of parenthood and living. Yet all solidarity goes out the window the moment someone struggle. Compassion, to these people, ceases when a hypothetical child is born. Unborn children are treated as bargaining chips and economic fodder, not potential people who can experience pain and suffering.
2. “You’re just ignorant. Everywhere is just as stressful/Singapore is already so much better than other countries.”
Someone having it worse doesn't make your situation any better. It just means the person has it worse. A greater suffering doesn’t negate a lesser one. Would you tell a person going through depression that he is ignorant to be struggling when so many others have it worse? More importantly, this rationale implies that it’s okay subject another person who has yet to exist, to all this suffering, on the mere reason that others have it worse.
3. You can just choose not to be part of the rat race
In the same way that you can just choose to not be depressed? How many cleaning uncles and aunties out there are at their jobs because they love the rat race? Almost no one wants to climb the corporate ladder. We just want time to be with family and loved ones, to develop our passions, to give back to society. How many jobs pay a livable wage, with short work week and long leave? This sounds like entitlement to many but that’s what they mean by “you can just choose not to be part of the rat race” right?

This stupid argument plays out every time anarcho stripperism posts anything, no, it is not the internet forum's role to do a kid's parent's job

Whenever a nsfw post gets popular on here, I always see the same shit "noooo you can't post this there are minors here." This is stupid if you think about it for literally two seconds.
First of all, the existence of hornyposts already indicates that this is not a child friendly place, if moderators wanted this to be a place open to minors, they'd have to be brain dead to allow hornyposts at all. They could (and IMO should) make this more explicit by putting it in the sub description but they haven't done so yet.
Secondly, NSFW posts are clearly tagged and flaired, to even see them you need to click on them or go into your settings and turn off blurring, either way, you are explicitly giving consent and affirming that you are both old enough to, and willing to, view the content. If this is not enough protection, then why are nsfw subreddits allowed in the first place, or any pornography on the internet that isn't protected by requiring ID for that matter?
Thirdly, no one under the age of seventeen should even be here according to the app guidelines on google play and the apple app store, the idea that it's on an internet forum's moderators and not the parents to enforce this and prevent minors from using this app is simply absurd.
And to close, we should not have to censor ourselves due to the possibility of minors being somewhere they shouldn't, you don't go to a bar and demand the owners stop selling alcohol because a 17 y/o came in with a fake ID, you get the bar to blacklist the 17 y/o, the subreddit moderators are steadfast in removing hornyposts created by minors as long as you point it out to them, so if you see something that isn't right, just report it and it'll get removed.

My 8 year old cousin understands the word non-binary. Shows that it's not that difficult to teach kids about gender identity.

An actual conversation with my cousin (8f) while playing Mariokart.
Cousin: look there are a blue and a pink lane. Then the boys can have the blue and the girls can have the pink.
Me: I dont think there are boy colors and girl colors. Do you?
C: No but I think it looks better
Me: But what about those who are in between or neither girl or boy.
C: thinking intensly there are only boys and girls. But then if you are a boy that wants to be a girl, you can just change.
Me: but there are people who are non-binary. Do you know what that is?
She says no and I give a quick explanation.
C: okay but then the non-binary people can just drive on both lanes.
This is an example of how easy it is to explain gender identity to a kid. It is the grownups that make it difficult.

Why would a binary options broker be happy if people are earning money?

I created an account on Quotex, after reading on the internet that at the moment is one of the best brokers for binary options. But I also read a few people complaining about not being able to withdraw their money, and a couple of them were talking about pretty big amounts. My question is: what is a broker, in this case Quotex, gaining in return when I am winning? Potentially with just 1000$ one can earn even 700/800$, with a single operation. IF a person is winning much, what is the broker gaining? It should be bad for them. Let’s make an example, just to understand. I know that you can lose and there are high chances to do so, but it’s just an example and let’s take it as something hypothetical: I allocated only 100$ dollars in my account, I plan to make one single operation a day, when I am very sure that the outcome will be positive. With this single operation I can earn between 70$ and 88$. Which means potentially between 700$ and 888$ in 10 days, with only 100$. Shouldn’t the broker be “worried” about that? After all they would have to pay me everyday. What would be the best thing to do in that case? Withdrawing every single day the 70$? Or you wouldn’t risk nothing by withdrawing a bigger amount once every 10 days or even once a month? The risk I’m talking about is having your funds blocked on their platform and your account even being closed (this is what I read in a few bad reviews about some brokers).
